Welcome to the Lab, Ali Khalili Tazehkandgheshlagh!

Ali Khalili Tazehkandgheshlagh, Research Assistant, UbiSensing & AI Lab

We are thrilled to welcome Ali Khalili Tazehkandgheshlagh to the UbiSensing & AI Lab as a Research Assistant working on AI and smart agriculture.

Ali holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering of Biosystems from the University of Tehran (top three in his class), with a strong background in AI, computer vision, the Internet of Things (IoT), and edge computing.

His applied experience spans object detection, segmentation, and video action recognition; smart and precision agriculture systems; IoT, embedded systems, and edge computing; and backend and full-stack development with FastAPI, React, and React Native. He has contributed to applied research in cattle health monitoring, weed detection, and smart farming systems — work that aligns closely with the lab’s priorities in AI-enabled agriculture and sensing.

He joins the team with curiosity, practical engineering depth, and a commitment to research that translates into real-field impact, and we are excited to see what he will bring to the lab.

Welcome, Ali — we are glad to have you!
