GAMA-based Methane Leak Detection and Repair Simulator
Objective
The objective is to enhance the realism and transparency of the simulation by refining agent characteristics, expanding agent types, and providing clearer insights into LDAR strategies.
Description
This project leverages the GIS Agent-based Modeling Architecture (GAMA) platform to improve the realism and transparency of methane Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) simulations in the oil and gas industry. By refining agent characteristics, such as equipment aging and inspector proficiency, expanding agent types to represent various equipment and personnel roles, and incorporating real-world conditions like unexpected equipment failures, the simulation offers a more comprehensive perspective on LDAR strategies.
